A and S Skips acts as a data controller by processing data (which may include sensitive personal data) which is collected directly from clients.  Client’s personal data is never sourced externally.  Categories of data retained by A and S Skips include client name, address, telephone number and email address.  Bank account details are not a category of personal data that A and S Skips retain.

How do we process your data?

Personal data will be processed with legitimate interest – for the purpose of providing services agreed between A and S Skips and our clients.  A and S Skips may contact clients regarding queries related to services being provided such as arranging collections and invoicing.  A and S Skips will not send marketing information to clients.

A and S Skips may be required to process your data for the purpose of investigating, detecting and reporting crime and also to comply with any laws that apply; this may include demonstrating our compliance with industry standards.  A and S Skips must have a legal basis to process your personal data.

Third parties

A and S Skips will not share personal data with third parties.

Data retention

A and S Skips will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose it is collected.  Personal data is stored electronically with security measures in place to protect the data and ensure that access is strictly limited to certain persons of authority.  We also have a Firewall (security software) in place to protect our internal information from the internet.

Google Analytics

When someone visits aandsskips.co.uk we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.  The purpose of this is to find out things such as the number of visitors to various parts of the site.  This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.  A and S Skips does not make, and does not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
